I’d long had an idea of making an outdoor work area at home but have never gotten around to doing it. We all have our habits and routines and I find that when I am working in SL, and it requires periods of time in lots of programmes and flipping back to SL occasionally to read notecards, or send messages, that I like to have an actual office/work space to do that work in. It might be a bit weird but I really do feel more focused and I am sure I am more productive when I am in this kind of work area.
I’ve used several of my favourite brands in this photo and they all compliment each other so well in terms of being super high quality modern look furniture. The Loft and Aria set is at Collabor88 and this photo took longer than it should because I was spending so much time playing with the numerous texture options on offer in almost everything you see in that set. I love the vibrant colour options in the North Oak chair, which to be honest I bought a while ago and it got a bit lost in my inventory. I was reminded of the brand when I picked up the adorable Corgi planter at Cosmopolitan. I’ve also incorporated a couple of different sets from Fancy Decor into the shot….that Coffee maker is a must for any office of mine!
