I returned to the Apeture viewer after struggling with some other viewers for taking photos and I was very pleasantly reminded of how intuitive and usable it is. As with most photographers you set up your scene, view, position etc in Firestorm and then log in a better photography viewer to “take the shot”. In the past that shot phase would have taken me anywhere between 15-45 mins, but of late it was taking more than twice that and I was still never happy with the result.
Fast forward to yesterday when I jumped on Aperture and had my shot taken and ready to edit in 10 minutes and was very happy with the result. A little more tinkering and fine-tuning and I think this could continue to be my “take the shot” viewer for a while. I’ve yet to try a decor shot with it but we’ll see soon!
Anyways, in all things, it’s chin-up, keep moving forward and stop looking back mode for me for the forseeable. I love taking walks with my dog in real life to help clear my head and it seems like this one in Second Life had the same effect.
