Yesterday SL had issues. Yesterday was also the Avi Choice Awards and I felt so bad for the organisers. I know from organising and running the Bloggies for a few years how much work and preparation goes in to the big gala night and to get the “scheduled maintenance” and reported incidents notice with just a couple of hours to go must have been crushing.
I attended a watch party at Love Heaven venue, along with supporters of Aleykat, who was not only performing, but was nominated in 2 categories. I am delighted to say that she won both awards and it is truly very well deserved. Not only is she a beautiful person but she has the voice of an angel. I highly recommend spending an hour in the company of her and her incredible voice if you spot one of her shows somewhere. She may even let one of her singing partners out of the cupboard!
