I can see the future. I can predict without a shadow of a doubt that wine will play a huge part in my life during the next 8 hours. Those of you who follow, or my friends on facebook, know that this week has been extremely challenging with my youngest daughter being taken to hospital. She’s going to be in hospital for at least another week but she’s stable now and the chances of getting a sudden call to go to the hospital are slim. Slim enough for me to crack open a very good bottle of red wine and take some time to relax anyway.
This and other situations has made me think about the support network we all have with our friends and acquaintances in Second Life. Even after all my years in this social environment I am still pleasantly suprised and humbled by the support we give our friends in times of need or crisis. From promises of prayers, to positive energy to sending love and light our friends network is always quick to lend a hand and helpful words and messages. I believe in prayer and I also believe in the power of positive thinking so every single message and word mattered.
Words are powerful. Thank you to all my friends who have used that power for good and kept my family in their thoughts and prayers.
