I did one of those facebook quizzes the other day that set questions for my friends to answer to ascertain how well your friends know you. Now, obviously, this all just a bit of fun and games. I’m well aware of how well my closest friends know me…sometimes it’s uncomfortably well. That said none of my friends got above 8/15 questions correct on the quiz.
Several friends were doing the same quiz and I was averaging about the same for my friends and I started to think about how we perceive ourselves versus how others see us. For example, if I answered Sense of Humour to the question What do you believe is your most attractive but all my friends answered with something else then who is correct? Maybe I’m not as funny as I thought? Maybe I chose Sense of Humour as an answer because it’s easy…allegedly everybody has one and it’s easier to choose the safe answer rather than appear to be egotistical? Or is just that there is a huge difference between how I perceive myself and how others view me? After all, I consider myself a total angel! *insert evil grin*
