I am loving this round of 6 Republic for so many reasons. The theme for the event is New York v London and being a Londoner I am of course enjoying seeing the best stores and creators in Second Life come up with items and sets that pay homage to my home city.  Putting this set together I pulled out some of my Britpop playlists. Amongst my friends it’s well known that my favourite band is Oasis but the Britpop sub genre in general is a musical era that I enjoy a lot.

I dj on Sunday at Inara Pey’s sim Holly Kai Park. The theme of my set is Feel Good Sunday and I have a sneaky feeling that after getting in the Brit mood today it will be a Britpop themed set coming up for this week.  If you fancy a couple of hours hanging out with a great bunch of people listening to Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Suede, Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scene, The Charlatans and many many more head over to Caitinara bar at Holly Kai Park between 12-2pm slt on Sunday.

That still leaves you plenty of time to head over to 6 Republic and check out the amazing creators and designers celebrating both New York and London.
