I’m starting to believe that there is a kind of chain reaction that happens on Facebook, and other social media, with negative and positive feelings. When I scroll through my feed in the morning I either see predominately all negative posts or predominantly positive ones and it got me thinking about whether one person unwittingly sets the tone and that riles other people up or cheers them up? These things seem to come in clusters, or maybe that’s just my perception. I’m quite an empathetic person and I find it easy for my mood to be set by the emotions and attitude of others so I try skim over the negativity and focus on the positive. I have one particular Facebook friend who often goes out of her way to lift people up and spread happiness and positivity and, even though I have only met her in world a couple of times, her personality and disposition shine through her words and posts on Facebook.
When I read the negative posts from people, especially those that only ever seem to have something bad to say, I feel quite sad for them. What must they look like on the inside? Obviously I don’t mean literally but I associate colours with people. My positive Facebook friend I mentioned earlier I would associate amber with for it’s richness, depth and brightness. For the moaners and groaners I think of sludgy matte greens, greys and browns. Now, my favourite colour is brown – velvety creamy browns, chocolate browns and golden browns. I like to think of myself as a lime green…bright, vivacious, a little bit off-the-wall and not everyone’s cup of tea.
About the Stuff:
I love this new hair from Moon! It comes in two versions, with and without the Nerdeez glasses and it’s got that perfect early summer feel to it with the glasses and the hooked over the ear look on one side. The top I’m wearing is a little risque but that’s to be expected from the fabulous team at Ascend. It’s new at Mesh Body Addicts bi-monthly event and comes in a range of individual colours and colour packs and the ability to change the textures on the laces and metals. Fit wise it comes in Belleza Freya and Isis, Slink Hourglass and Original and Maitreya Lara (worn).
