Escape

We all need an escape and for many of you reading this, and myself included, it’s Second Life. The beauty that can be created here is still as breathtaking today as it was when I first joined. I love my SL world and what I do here and most of all I love the people I’ve met and the friendships that have evolved.

I had a pang of guilt yesterday as I listened to Strawberry Singh at the Blogger & Vlogger Network talking about early adopters and how bloggers lead the way often. She then went on to talk about Sansar and that’s when I felt a little guilty. See, I’m so resistant to Sansar that I haven’t even bothered going to have a look yet. I’m not even sure why I’m resistant…I know it’s not a replacement for my escape, it’s a new one. It will appeal to different people and will be very experience based rather than social based. I’ve read about it. I’ve watched videos about it. I just can’t seem to muster the slightest little bit of enthusiasm for it. But, even though it may not be for another week or so I have decided I will go at least take a look – for professional reasons. I’m sure I will share my thoughts with you then.

So, before I disappear off for another day I need to say that I am the absolute worst ever blogger sometimes. I’ve had this picture done for a few days but hadn’t been able to post it and I realise that the event that some of the items were at is now over (damn these short events!). But, I still wanted to share it because I fell in love with this scene and because you can always head to the mainstore where the items will hopefully be out for sale soon!
