Calm your britches…this isn’t about anyone in Second Life…though I am sure some would love to run off and tell someone it’s about them…it’s not. Anyhoo…the stuff that has made me a fighter is all very much based in real life and in my childhood and late teenage years. I’ve always wanted to work that bit harder to prove myself to teachers and my parents who didn’t think I could do what I did. I was bullied at school and quickly learned how to turn the bullies to my side with humour and pretending to have a thick skin. I don’t give up easily and that can be a positive and a negative in my life. Most of the time it’s been a force for good. I came out on top when I look back at it now. So yeah, she may have written and performed this song about a man but that’s not what this is about for me.
