My weekend has gotten off to a great start! I hope yours has too. I’ve been rekindling my love of sailing/boating in Second Life over the last few weeks. Now, let me be clear…I can’t sail for shit but that didn’t stop me spending a lot of money on a yacht a few years ago. However, recently I’ve fallen in love again with life on the Blake Seas and the boats of RattleTrap Shipyards. You can see in the background the latest release ZeusHasReturned. It’s customizable so you can add your own flag and name of the boat. I named mine after the blog! It comes in 7 colour options and has a host of animations, singles, couples and adult. There is a luxurious cabin and a very sweet and romantic dinette area on the front. I particularly liked the fact that we could sit cuddled up on the bow and still be able to drive the boat too.
If you enjoy boating/sailing in Second Life you will fall in love with this new release and if you haven’t tried it yet you might find it’s a lot easier and a very relaxing past time to try. You can demo the boats on the Rattletrap Shipyards sim too and if the owner is about they are sure to help you out with any questions you have.
