There is one major issue with blogging or photographing houses….I want to move a lot! Our home takes up one half of the sim and the other side is blogging/building areas for taking photos and putting scenes together. I set up this space to take a photo of this gorgeous Trompe Loeil Tree house and once I had finished and taken the photo my first reaction, as it often is, was “well, now I want to live in that!”. I’d literally change houses weekly if I could but I also like the stability of having a place that doesn’t change.
Everything in Second Life is on hyper-speed…friendships and relationships change daily, fashions come and go quicker than in RL, stores start up, events start up…it’s constant churn, churn, churn. I love the things that give me grounding in SL…my friends, my relationship with Artem and our home.
That said, I am keeping this build up for a while as an alternative chill out and hangout area.
