I was looking back at my photostream on Flickr the other day, carrying out some housekeeping, and I was struck by the memories that some of the photos evoked. they weren’t the photos you think would evoke memories because it wasn’t about the photo itself it was about what I was doing or what was happening when I took the photo. There were both good and bad memories, memories of things I wish I could change now, situations I’d rather not have been in but I was just surprised how the photos least designed to evoke memories were the ones that did the most.
I’m wondering if this photo will be one I could look back on in the future and smile, scowl or cry.
