Good Morning! Gosh it’s only 11am and I’ve been pretty productive. Hoping I can keep this up because I have a long list of items I want to take photographs of and I’m decorating a new home too. More on that soon I’m sure!
I wanted to tell you a bit about how I edited the photo today. I rarely use Photoshop actions but the extremely talented, (and adorable) Mr M has made some for The SL Spoon that are designed for decor blogging and specifically for food blogging. That said, they work well for a lot of different scenarios so I thought I’d give them a try. There are a few different actions and I ran all of them and then played around with them until I settled on using the first one but reduced the effect some via the opacity slider. I then took the photo into Camera Raw to make my final edits and add a matte finish to my liking.
As far as I know the idea of producing photo actions specifically for food editing Second Life photos is quite unique…well certainly making them available to others via marketplace is. Yes, of course, I’m biased but he is a very talented man and the products he has produced are impressive and for those less familiar with camera raw, or other PS features using an action can save a lot of time. The results are amazing and well worth the purchase price so have a little look.
