2020 has been a tough year and it’s brought out the best and the worst of people. It’s almost understandable when it’s brought out the negative side of people. Often it’s a demonstration of behaviour brought about my mental health issues as people struggle with the isolation of lockdown. I’m a bit of a loner in real life and even I was crawling the walls and wanting to get back to going into work every day to see people so it must have been extremely hard on people that need people around them every day. For some, our Second Life Community has been a lifeline and something to embrace. For others, who probably weren’t the nicest people pre-pandemic, it’s magnified the negative.
Years ago I remember reading a SL meme…. “In a world where you can be anything you want…..don’t be an asshole”. The run up to the Bloggies and he immediate days after really showed how many people need reminding of that.
Meanwhile, there is still time to head to The Arcade and grab plenty of goodies for your Halloween themed set ups and decoration projects.
