I saw my fellow blogger, and friend, Maria post the other day with some items from this release from Glam Affair and she commented how it was out of her comfort zone. It’s completely out of mine too so after reading her post I decided to challenge myself with the look and the editing of this close up portrait photo.
I normally add light via the camera raw function within photoshop but decided to use the Lighting feature of photoshop instead and really enjoyed trying the different options and styles and playing with the sliders to get different effects, before settling on this one. Whatever the software we use, for anything really, we often only use about 10% of the features that are included with it regularly. It’s fun, interesting and challenging to start to play around with features of photoshop that maybe don’t get used as often.
