Sizzles

We all have words we love and words we dislike and there is often a concensus on the latter. Take ‘moist’ for example. I know a few people who literally have a physical disgust response to that word. I love words that sound like what they mean.

I got thinking about this when I wrote the name of the blog and I sat here, in my home office, saying the word out loud and realising how much I loved the feel of the word as it formed. It got me thinking about other words I love…. Vibrant, Zest, Fizz, Crisp (I will use that word later in the blog)… and words I don’t….Tepid, Phlegm and Banoffee (though that is due to my hatred of banana flavoured things).

Bit random but there is where my head is at today!

I wrote the other day that Summerfest is in full swing and I have some more new items to share with you from there specifically from Dead Doll and Hive. I’ve often commented on the lace work textures that Kiddo does for many of the stunning Dead Doll dresses and now I’m going to opine about the fantastic crochet work on this bikini! The crispness and quality of the texture work on this is really outstanding and part of the reason I am not covering it up with the dress that is also part of the set. The dress is a net style coverall to slip over the top of the bikini and looks super cute, and, obviously, you can wear it with or without.

My drink du jour is from Hive, also at Summerfest, and is from a set of snowcones (which I think we refer to by the brand name of the most common ones in the UK, Slush Puppies). I’ve been putting off a visit to the dentist in real life during the pandemic and I know a sensitive tooth I have would already be throbbing just looking at this, because it’s so realistic, but in SL I can tuck in without concern! Hurrah!
