Yesterday got away from me a little bit and I was a little lazy. I’m not great at New Year and I find the lead up to it quite emotional and I never really expect to have a good time celebrating either. Isn’t it always the way that when you least expect to have a good time you have some of the best times of your life?
I wasn’t awfully sure what I was going to be doing last night but I knew I had friends who would be in the same boat and after seeing a flyer for a disco party at Frogmore I messaged my friend Phen to see if her and Trace had plans. They did not and she wasn’t sure if he was going to be on either so we planned to go together. We put two outfits together. One for the theme at Frogmore and one for if we went anywhere else. A little while later I asked my sister, Sadycat, to come too. Once we arrived we asked Maria and Jason what they would be doing and if they would like to come. They did! Then Trace and Archer logged in too…so the whole gang was there. We had a brilliant time with lots of laughs and, for me, a little too much wine!
As I just commented on Maria’s Facebook post…I couldn’t have asked for a better end to 2021 or a better start to 2022!
