I’ve talked before about forgiveness. It’s one of those things I wish I was better at for no other reason than people I know who are able to forgive easily tell me it makes them feel better. They tell me that they forgive for themselves not for other people. I was joking with a friend last night that personally I was waiting for ‘Holding a Grudge’ to become an Olympic sport as I figured it was the only way I’d ever win a Gold Medal. What do I mean by that? Well, I don’t go actively out of my way to necessarily even let people know that I’m hurt or angry. Sometimes I share my thoughts here on the blog, sometimes I talk to close friends but most of the time I keep things to myself. Some might say that’s keeping wise counsel, others that it’s bottling things up. I think it’s a combination of the two. Normally I just tuck the negative feelings away in a mental drawer and move on without a word. It doesn’t mean that I’m not still sad or bothered but that I’m trying to understand my level of responsibility for how I’m feeling and what I can do to change it.
I mentioned on a facebook post earlier this week that this year has been about me learning to respect myself again and there may be times that I’ve gone too far the other way and cut people out too quickly as part of that process but it’s been a necessary part of the learning curve and I still much prefer this me to the me I was 12 months ago.
Hair Fair 2016:

Hair Fair opened today and there are quite literally thousands of hairs to choose from the majority of SL’s hair designers and some also some designers that aren’t predominately known for their hair designs. Exile falls into the first category and is well known around the grid. They have 4 female new releases and 1 male release for the event where every hair on sale makes a donation to the Wigs for Kids charity. This year they are all longer hair styles from Exile and all of them fit perfectly around my mesh body.
About the Stuff:
So many events have started up over the last couple of days I can hardly keep up. It’s not surprising that Poe Cross of Industry 7 and Jamie Cross of unKindness have items for The Epiphany that work so well together as they are the real life couple behind the brands and they have both done a massively feature packed gacha set for the event. A dark, urban, grunge style builders which is perfect for roleplay and combat sims as well as for themed home areas and parties.
U L T R A swung open it’s shiny doors also this week and I’ve sorta, kinda, cheated with the pose from Drunk Panda Poses as it is in fact a couple pose but never having been one to rely anyone else I’ve just used the one half of it. The pose is called Fight For You…yeah! I will fight for you invisible other person! haha! Well I think it works as a single pose too and bats are included if you need to club someone into posing to help you out.
