Do Blondes Have Their Fun But Brunettes Do it Better?

I may swap my hair style several times a day but I do tend to stick with a hair colour in SL for years, even if i do swap it out now and again for a particular look in photos etc I always go back to the same colour. I had a very long Brunette stage several years ago and my friend at the time was a bombshell blonde and I would often play a song by a band called Kidforce called Brunettes Do it Better to wind her up.

Then I went through my own blonde stage, but it was relatively short lived although I do have ‘blonde days’.  No, I’m not being disparaging about blondes I mean days where I just fancy being a knockout blonde and seeing if the adage is true that they have more fun.  I have to say that one of the many great things about my skin (The Skinnery honey tone) is that it pretty much works with all hair colours even with the freckles.

I always end up back with my favourite ginger/red tones which to be honest come into their own at this time of year too and work beautifully with the colours of so many sims around SL during fall.

About the Stuff:

It’s Uber time again and that means another excellent new release from Reverie. The Ciara dress comes in fits for Slink Hourglass and Physique as well as Maitreya Lara (worn). There are a range of plain colour textures or the Aztec textures to choose from and when balanced with the vest that can be worn with or separately I favoured the Aztec designs.  Patterns on clothing, in real life, or SL have to really hit the mark for me as I am prone personally to going the safe option of a plain colour texture but these Aztec textures really make this dress ‘ping’ for me and the warmth of the textures works perfectly for this time of year.
