Generally I don’t wear a lot of make up in Second Life. I like buying a lot of make up for some reason but rarely wear it. I used to wear far more in the pre-mesh head era. I can’t tell you how many eyelash sets and lipstick sets I had.
A lot of what I have been doing around blogging in 2018 has been about trying new-to-me things, challenging myself and doing things differently. Colour is one way I have chosen to challenge myself. I talked in a recent post how I couldn’t remember the last time I wore purple in SL so I challenged myself to do a photo in a purple dress.
So, this blog post challenges me in two ways – make up and colour. My colour palette of choice is generally quite autumny with browns, greens, oranges and yellows…but also usually I’m ginger so that works.
Pinks, violets, lilac and cerise have never been my go-to colours but I was blown away by how much I loved this look. Both the lipstick and eyeshadow I am wearing are new from Zibska for the upcoming Skin Fair 2018. I’m looking forward to experimenting more with colours from all the designers at The Skin Fair to create looks for Kess that push me out of the neutral tones.
What do you think? Is Kess really a pink girl after all?
