Halcyon Haze

What do you see? I’ve often talked with other blogger friends and photographers about our own view of our own photos and how it differs from other peoples. I showed Zedekiah two photos yesterday. I favoured one of them…not because of how much work I had put into that one…I really just thought it was a better end product and looked slightly better than the other one. His view was the total opposite. I’ve put photos that I thought were great on Flickr and noticed people liking them less than I thought and vice versa…photos I didn’t think were amazing and they have performed, in terms of faves, better than the rest of my stream. It’s almost impossible to see what other people see and like in your work sometimes but I am always grateful for those that do like it. I’ve scraped pictures in the past when I’ve felt they weren’t quite right or good enough. Maybe I needed to step away and look at them with fresh eyes later. Halcyon
