It’s been a fun weekend so far and the great news is there is an extra day of it! \o/
It’s Memorial Day weekend in the states and in the UK it’s the Spring Bank Holiday. The weather was gorgeous yesterday but today is a little more overcast where I am. But the great news is that you can always make it sunny in SL with a simple change of windlight or time of day.
I had a little impromptu party on Saturday with some of my MadPea co-workers and friends…it was a working party. Sorta…kinda. It was an opportunity to test run the new Mad Hot Summer Party set from MadPea and it was a total riot! After the ‘work’ part was done we partied with sheep (a tradition for my Welsh guests apparently…who knew!) and I ended up exhausted but full of good cheer (and gin) on my floatie.
The Arcade has brought in a new component for this round where everyone that plays a single machine 50 times receives a reward (from participating vendors – check if the machine you are playing is taking part in the reward scheme.) For the Mad Hot Summer Party set MadPea has produced a texture changing hud that transforms the items into a US Independence Day set. Perfect for all the July 4th parties around the grid.
