I’ve been a little quiet on the blogging front over the last week or so. I have been taking pics…sometimes over and over and never feeling happy about them. Finally I get a shot in world and take it into Photoshop and then I can’t get happy with the edit.
I took a step back and thought about why. I knew the core reason why I was struggling and feeling a little disenchanted and disheartened with my work, and I will be talking about that in the coming days. I’ve talked to a couple of other bloggers about the catalyst for the loss of mojo, and again, more about that soon. The subject deserves a thorough and more nuanced post than this one.
During a chilled Sunday afternoon chat with Mr M yesterday I had the chance to discuss this with someone that wasn’t already aware and directly involved in the issue. It gave me an opportunity to get an independent view and validate some of my responses and challenge some others. He has a good ear and always gives thoughtful, considered advice and he came up with some really good points.
