Morning! I’m leaving the ‘good’ out of that phrase because it really doesn’t feel like one! I am pre-caffeinated though so that could be part of the issue. I was reading through quotes last night and this one got me thinking for a long, long time.

This is where I have been within several rl and sl circumstances over the years. I have always felt that from a RL work perspective and often in SL work too. We’re human and we all make mistakes and errors and I fuck-up occasionally. When I do it sends me to a pretty depressed place where I focus on that mistake long after I have fixed it, or made amends or apologised.
The better you are consistently, the less accepting people are of your errors and mistakes too, in my experience. At work, people who are mediocre never really disappoint anyone but they can surprise them. People who excel can disappoint but the consistency of excelling becomes the norm.
